Her extravagant spending spree includes:
• A million dollars on one hotel bill
• $137,000 in rehab costs, racking up bills of $30,000, $45,000 and $62,000 for each stint.
• Thousands in legal fees after multiple drink driving convictions.
• $350,000 on luxury Mercedes and BMWs
• A million on clothes
• $70,000 on tanning and hair-styling
• Well over $500,000 on partying
Lindsay Lohan has blown $7.75 million just in the last few months and is officially broke after blowing her fortune on drink, drugs and partying. More....

I went to San Diego recently for a Red Sox game (side note: knock-on-wood hoping for a win tonight), and took a trip up to Hollywood where we took the "Homes of the Stars" tour. Our tourguide was OBSESSED with Lindsay Lohan (he pointed out where she lived, the bars she went to, where she crashed, etc., etc.)
I'm not clear on the obsession with her. I'm only guessing it's the fact that you can pretty much do anything with a girl who's so tanked and drugged up that she has no idea what she's agreeing to (shout out to my wife here).
I'm assuming that she's going to lose a lot of her popularity being clean, just for this reason.
My 2 cents against her 7.5 million.
I would love to go to an American baseball game, it is a dream. It would be awesome.
It would take me a lifetime to go through 7.5 million dollars! It'll be interesting to see what her next move is career-wise. From what I have heard, she is considered poison by a lot of the movie studios... and rightfully so.

You're so right. Money cannot buy you happiness. (But that reminds me of a funny David Lee Roth quote. He said, "Money may not buy you happiness, but it will buy you a big ole yacht and you can pull right up beside it." I like that.) It's a shame that LL is being so wasteful. She could do so much good with all of that money if she only chose to.

I can't imagine being ok with spending that amount of money on things like clothes and hotel bills, even if I was rolling in cash! It's a completely different mindset, money obviously has no meaning whatsoever for her. But, like others have said, I doubt she's happy.
I wouldn't know where to start spending that kind of money.
I think it's really sad.
But I actually have a bit of a soft spot for Lindsay...a spot I don't have for the other hollywood twIT girls.
I'm hoping she truly keeps her nose clean and re-focuses on her career. I think she actually has a lot of talent (one that doesn't involve sex tapes like the other hollywood princesses).

I'm always amazed by seeing lists of how much celebrities spend. A million dollars - just on clothes? I could live on a million dollars for a couple of years - an by a couple I mean 20. But I'll still read about it and watch "The fabulous lives of...." on VH1. Just to shake my head and laugh at them.
I know, I would be happy with a GOOD paycheck each week. :)

This is so sad. She is, after all, a human being. I hate to see any one suffer like this. I hope she gets the help she needs to basically grow up and get a life!
I hate seeing people suffer to, but how much suffering did she go through spending 8 million. What a hard life, LOL :)
